The new owners have spent big $$$$$$$$(rumored 2 million) restoring this course, re facing and adding bunkers, re building one green, planting almost 100 new trees, building new tees, complete re do in the bar, banquet facilities and new kitchen, constructing a new driving range & short game practise area the list goes on! It is a terrific value and the course has evolved into fair test for golfers of all skill levels.

My home is just off one of the tee boxes so I don't have to travel to play. The front nine has more scenic quality than the back. Afternoon breezes make back nine more challenging than it appears.Fairways on the back nine are being improved but still lack good quality.

It's been 2 years since I last rated this course but the improvements are dramatic, the greens are as good as any public course you might play & better than many top rated destination courses, the overall course condition (tees, fairways etc)is pretty good plus the bunkers have all been re built with new sand. The pro shop has a good selection of fairly priced equipment and the staff are very friendly. After the round a visit to the bar is well worthwhile plus the restaurant food is well prepared & reasonably priced, all in all this golf course is a great value period!
